We know that finding the image you want can
be difficult so we've provided several tools to help you. There's
our Image Directory which organises images
into folders and subfolders (like your computer's hard-drive). This
site also offers portfolios,
which group images on specialised subjects together. Don't
forget there are also several different search tools which can help you
find images based in their text descriptions,
colour and geographic
location.
Image Directory
The Impressions Image Directory groups images into categories
(like folders on your computer). These image groups can have more
specific image groups within them. To find the image you want, begin
by choosing the top image group name that best describe the image you're
looking for and then continue choosing exposed folders which are closer
to what you're looking for. Eventually (after a few clicks) you should
be able to locate the images in our database which most closely resemble
the type of image you're looking for.
Portfolios
Portfolios are groups of images which share a common
theme or geographical location, for example 'Fraser Island '04'
might be a portfolio containing several images shot in the Fraser
Island region. Portfolios are designed to help photographer showcase
images and for users like yourself to find images similar to those you like.
